Charlotte Dumas (1977, Vlaardingen, The Netherlands) studied at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten Amsterdam between 2001-2002 and before that Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam (1996-2000). She has had solo exhibitions at The Photographer’s Gallery London, De Pont Museum for Contemporay art Tilburg, Gallery 916 Tokyo, Galerie Paul Andrie and FOAM Amsterdam among others.

Dumas’ work is present in the following collections: Winterthur Photo Museum, Rabobank, Nederlandse Bank, Deutsche Bank, New York Public Library, De Pont Museum voor Hedendaagse Kunst, FOAM, Museum het Domein, SCHUNCK, Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Alexander McQueen, Sophia Coppola, Rubell Collection, Cathy Kaplan NY, The Bidwell Collection, and Kaplun Collection Basel.
